Instagram now has a dedicated app for Apple TV. Its App Store listing promises Reels, longer videos and live shows on the big screen, along with creator content, discovery of new clips and the ability to pick up where you left off across devices. The app requires tvOS 26.0 or later.

According to MacRumors, the Apple TV version (version 66.0) appeared on the App Store on 23 October. Neither Meta nor Apple has formally announced the launch date.

The launch ends a long wait for an Apple TV version of Instagram. Meta first brought its TV interface to Amazon Fire TV in December 2025, followed by Google TV, and expanded it to Samsung smart TVs in the US in June 2026. At the same time, Meta said it was exploring longer-form creator content and other formats built for the living room. Instagram released a dedicated iPad app in September 2025.
