Apple’s support page now lists iOS 27.1 as the latest version only for the iPhone Duo, while other iPhones still show iOS 27.0.1. The update is exclusive to the foldable device that launched on 23 October.

The release notes for iOS 27.1 mention only “bug fixes for your iPhone,” and Apple has published no CVE entries for the update. According to 9to5Mac and MacRumors, the version was kept Duo-only to prevent features from leaking before launch.

Other iPhones remain on iOS 27.0.1, which Apple has made the prominent update for older models (our coverage). An iOS 27.2 release is expected next week after about a month of beta testing (what’s new in the beta). The beta includes a redesigned Apple Music icon, an overhauled Apple Podcasts Up Next queue, FaceTime Dual Capture for group calls and additional Siri AI language support.

The iPhone Duo (launched on 23 October) ships with iOS 27.1 preinstalled; a newer build was available as an IPSW from Thursday and pushed over the air overnight.
