Apple said on 3 November 2026 that its redesigned Health app will expand language support to global English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, French, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese. The app is built on Apple Intelligence and arrives on iPhone and iPad.

The headline addition is a Longevity tab, which analyses long-term trends in heart health, sleep, mental wellbeing, movement, metabolic health, hearing and nutrition. Its centrepiece is Health Age, which turns Apple Watch data on VO2 max, resting heart rate, sleep and heart rate variability into a figure showing how the body is tracking against the user’s actual age. People can also bring in clinical lab results such as A1c and LDL cholesterol.

Movement checks with the iPhone camera

Apple is also adding at-home movement evaluations that need no special equipment. The iPhone camera and an Apple Watch measure flexibility, strength, balance, movement mechanics and VO2 max, with live audio and visual feedback. Apple says the vision-based models were developed with clinical experts and run entirely on the device, and that no video is recorded, stored or shared.

Where it works

Apple’s footnotes say some features may not be available in every region or language, and availability can vary under local laws. Apple Intelligence itself supports 16 Siri and device languages, among them Danish, Dutch, German, Italian and Swedish, which are not on the Health app list yet. For the wider picture see our guide to Siri AI languages and countries.

The redesign first appeared in testing in iOS 27.2 beta 3. Apple has not named a release date in this announcement, and the new iOS 27.3 beta wave is the latest software in testing.
